PIRO keeps an exact inventory of precious metals and master alloys (such as 14K yellow gold alloys) and uses the daily market prices (either from the New York or London exchanges) to calculate your inventory's present value.

• Exact inventory tracking: see the amount of metal inventory in your safe or in the shop. You get alerted if your inventory gets too low to prevent you running out of items needed for your job orders. View your inventory needs to see how you can minimize your inventory to save money - you only have to buy the minimum amount needed for that day or that week, avoiding unnecessary stockpiling or running out of inventory.
• The built in Metal calculator helps you to calculate the price and weight of a product based on a wax or silver model.
• Within PIRO you can define arbitrary alloys based on their component rate. The Metal inventory mixing tool lets you compose master alloys from metals available on your stock.
• Convert metals from one alloy to another - this feature can be very useful if you want to mix up or down precious metals (for example, to create 18K gold using 14K alloy and 24K pure gold) - PIRO will give the suggested amounts so you can mix the correct ratios.
