Our recently released PIRO Retail is a tablet-based, jewelry point of sale (POS) system developed for companies with a retail presence who also do some level of manufacturing or repairs. One of the biggest advantages that PIRO Retail can bring is eliminating the necessity of using different software for entering custom orders at the retail store or at a tradeshow. With PIRO Retail you can manage the sales using an Android tablet while managing your inventory in PIRO. For example, PIRO Retail makes it possible to place an order at a tradeshow in Las Vegas and start the manufacturing in New York a few minutes later.

The PIRO Retail Kiosk is a mobile, tablet-oriented digital catalog that allows you to present all of your styles anywhere. You can create your own digital catalog – either with your finished jewelry or with your styles that you can manufacture – and present it while in the store on the road. Your sales staff or even your consumers can interactively configure styles and submit orders easily, form the tablet directly. The best part is: orders are being uploaded straight to your PIRO system in real time, so there is no need to re-enter them.

PIRO Fusion is the newest, cloud-based generation of PIRO. Although in terms of functionalities PIRO Fusion is not at the level of PIRO (desktop), Fusion can be a good option if portability is important for your company or if your wish to use PIRO on MAC computers. You can also use PIRO Fusion with PIRO concurrently, in case you need certain functions that are not available in PIRO Fusion (administration or configuration related features), as the two are compatible and can be run in the same environment in parallel. An upgrade path from PIRO Fusion to PIRO is also available, should you need to upgrade to get access to the full PIRO platform.

The Customer Portal is one of the add-ons we highly recommend if you want to provide your customers with online access to your services. Your customers will be able create custom orders, submit STL or 3DM files, place orders from your virtual catalog, and checkout using the built-in shopping cart. The Customer Portal can also provide real-time progress reports and allow your customers to see, download and pay their invoices, view order history, and much more. The look of the Customer Portal can be customized (skinned) to your preference or integrated into your existing website. And if you don’t yet have a website, the Customer Portal can also be used as a full website as it has powerful content management functions already built into it.
