FAQ:

How many users can use PIRO at the same time?

There is no limit on the number of users that can connect to the PIRO server. All licenses allow for an unlimited number of users and workstations to be connected to PIRO at any time.


How many workstations can I install PIRO on with my PIRO license?

You can install the PIRO client on any number of workstations, as long as they are connected to the same PIRO server (since the license is issued for the server, not for the workstations).


If there are unlimited users and unlimited workstations that can use PIRO at the same time with any license, why are there different licenses sold for it?

PIRO was created to allow unlimited use; that's why we have the Enterprise license. With the Enterprise license there are truly no limitations whatsoever. However, since the Enterprise license might not be suitable (at least in price) for the smaller businesses with tighter budgets, we created lower-tier licenses with reduced prices so that the smaller businesses can benefit from the software as well. These licenses (the Lite and the Pro versions) allow for 250 and 1500 job orders to be created in each calendar month. Then, once these companies grow, they can upgrade their license (by paying the difference) to a higher tier license or to an unlimited one.


Are there any maintenance charges?

You can purchase maintenance hours that can be applied to upgrades, training, etc (Click here to go to our online store to purchase professional services). This is optional. 


Do I get upgrades with my license purchase?

To get the upgrades for your system, you have to have an upgrade license. Upgrade licenses are valid for 1 calendar year; all upgrades issued in the covered year will be automatically applied to your system. We issue upgrades at a monthly frequency on the average, releasing new features and tools with each update.


Does PIRO support multiple pricing levels (tiers)?

Yes, PIRO allows your inventory and metal pricing to be applied on a large or granular level - you can set up pricing tiers that apply to certain customer groups or just to selected customers; you can also fine-tune the pricing for individual customers.


My company is outside of the continental US. How do I purchase PIRO?
